Maxwell’s Amy Jo Plummer Recognized as 2024 HousingWire Woman of Influence

We’re proud to announce that Amy Jo Plummer, Maxwell VP of Customer Experience, has been named a 2024 HousingWire Woman of Influence. The Women of Influence program recognizes the outstanding efforts of women who are driving the housing economy forward.

Amy Jo’s career has centered on advocating for and supporting the customer experience. Since joining Maxwell to head Customer Enablement in 2021, her noted leadership abilities have propelled her to manage a multitude of customers, as well as head up the Technical Account Services team and Senior Enterprise Customer Success Managers across Maxwell’s platform. Today, she serves as Vice President of Customer Experience, where she acts as the go-to resource for customer relationship management and an invaluable wealth of knowledge on supporting customers through various market cycles.

Committed to supporting lenders

At Maxwell, Amy Jo channels her significant experience to help lenders stay ahead of challenges while supporting customer retention and company growth. In the past year, she launched innovative customer retention, expansion, and forecasting efforts while implementing a comprehensive customer success planning project for all strategic customers. By keeping lender concerns at the forefront—and realizing that Maxwell customers were facing extremely tough market conditions—Amy Jo was able to position Maxwell to serve both its business goals and its customer needs.

As mortgage costs soar, lender profit margins are being squeezed more than ever. Amy Jo embodies Maxwell’s mission to work as a value-add partner to lenders rather than a tech disruptor overhauling the industry. She routinely gets on the phone, hops on a plane to visit a customer, and does whatever it takes to ensure Maxwell clients maximize the value they’re receiving. Along with supporting customers through challenges in profitability, Amy Jo also continually helps to educate customers on the value of technology in driving efficiency and expanding their business lines, especially in preparation for the eventual uptick in the market.

“What a great way to mark my 20th year in mortgage lending,” commented Amy Jo. “I’m so proud to play a part in what Maxwell is doing to turn the tide of homeownership, and I’m humbled to be included on this year’s Women of Influence list alongside so many others doing amazing things in our industry.”
